Ushers was the first blended scotch. Every other scotch blended today reflects the process Andrew Usher originated in 1853. Andrew Usher was a successful whisky distiller and blender. His father had experimented with the blending of whisky in the 1840s.

Soft, unimposing touch of warm peat and spicy malt that carries a blend of fruit and grain above it. The grain comes out with a tartness early that will cost it, but it manages to fade into wood and a fruity flavor that inches just a touch toward strawberries. Some rye and grain show up in the fade
