Santa Barbara Chardonnay reviewSanta Barbara Chardonnay
Santa Barbara is a different sort of viticultural area, with valleys that run east to west rather than north to south, funneling in marine air from the Pacific to cool the grape-growing regions. The truly distinctive flavors from the cool Northern and Western extremes of Santa Barbara County come together in this bottle. 2012.

Light golden tint which indicated some oak barrel fermentation. Bright fruit notes of apricot, peach, green apple, and nuances of pineapple and vanilla providing an aromatic and perfumed experience. On the palate, the wine was a dry, moderately flavored wine with a ripe fruit profile and lingering warmth.
