Its dark plum/ruby/purple color is followed by a sweet nose of creosote, scorched earth, black cherries, currants, and pain grille. Deep, full-flavored, muscular, textured, and rich with light to moderate tannin in the finish, this lavishly rich, full-bodied effort requires 1-3 years of bottle age, and should drink well over the following 12-15. -Rated 93, Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate.

Seagram Apple Twist Gin ReviewSeagram Apple Twist Gin
Twisted Apple is part of the Seagram’s fruit-flavoured gin range, which also includes gins with flavors of: orange, lime, raspberry and purple grape. Flavored gins used to be all the rage, starting off with cordial gins in the 1930s. Seagram’s Apple Twisted Gin is the first apple-flavored gin.
Buy Seagram Apple Twist Gin
Apple Gin was once very popular in England and Scotland. Try it served with ginger ale over ice for a simple, refreshing cocktail. Flavor of slightly oxidised, cut apple, then some vanilla, although the flavor seems rather artificial. This Apple Twist Gin is quite sweet.

New Belgium Brewing Company Brussels Black 1554 ReviewNew Belgium Brewing Company Brussels Black 1554
1554 Enlightened Black Ale uses a lager yeast strain and dark chocolaty malts to redefine what dark beer can be. Not a brown ale, not a porter, and not a stout… but some characteristics of each. The beer is fermented at relatively high temperatures using a European lager yeast that imparts a refreshing, zesty acidity.
Buy New Belgium Brewing Company Brussels Black 1554
Slightly fruity, herbal, spicy, rooty, coffee, chocolate, toffee. Due to the lager yeast ferm at high temps and the chocolate and black malt- this beer starts and finishes dry yet the middle is round and malt rich. Starts bitter chocolate with bright acidity, roasty and toasty, sweetness to round it out sweet/spicy, rooty, peppery undertones, lingering fruit acidity.

Evan Williams Honey Whiskey ReviewEvan Williams Honey Whiskey
A very promising whiskey based liqueur from Heaven Hill, Evan Williams Honey Reserve is made with Bourbon and Honey. That’s what you get when you mix extra-aged Evan Williams Bourbon with natural honey flavor. The whole party is going to love it.

And like its namesake, Evan Williams the Whiskey has the same strong character. Pale golden straw. Soft, citrus honey with Bourbon behind. Sweet honey and allspice with vanilla & a hint of smoke. Extra aged Bourbon is evident with long, slightly spicy finish.

Chimay Triple Cinq Cents Trappist ReviewChimay Triple Cinq Cents Trappist
The Chimay Triple, last-born of the Abbey, is labelled “Cinq Cents” on the 750 ml bottle. Its slightly hazy appearance and its fine head is especially characterised by its aroma which results from an agreeable combination of fresh hops and yeast. Of a golden color, the Trappist beer combines sweet and bitter in a rare balance.
Buy Chimay Triple Cinq Cents Trappist
The beer’s aroma felt in the mouth comes from the hops’ perfumes: above all, they are fruity touches of Muscat grapes and raisins, even ripe apples. Mildly pungent floral, herbal hop aromas. Rich pale malt palate has a fruity backnote, but the dominant theme is lavish floral hops that expand on the finish and linger. This has a full blown “pale ale on steroids” character, with plenty of warmth.
