Noilly Prat’s recipe dates back to 1813 and first found it’s way to the United States in 1840. Production takes three years to complete, including a year aging in outdoor barrels. Noilly Pratt has a slight pear/mango sweetness, with very present herbal characteristics. Noilly Prat was the original vermouth used in the classic “Martini”. Original Martini: 2 1/2 parts Beefeater gin and 3/4 parts Noilly Prat. A spectacular drink.
