Hedges CMS Red Wine ReviewHedges CMS Red Wine
The history of Hedges Family Estate begins in June of 1976, with the marriage of Tom Hedges and Anne-Marie Liégeois in a 12th century church in Champagne, France. An opportunity arose 3 hours East of Seattle in an up and coming wine region called Red Mountain. The marriage of American and French styles really emerges through their wine: New World but in an Old World way. 2009.

The dark color of this wine indicates the concentrated ripe black cherry fruit and sweet, toasted oak aromas that are on the nose initially. These are followed by herbal and floral aromas which lend additional complexity to the bouquet. In the mouth, you will find a rich, sweet, round entry bursting with toasted oak and dark red fruit flavors. Nice acid and a long, structured finish make this a truly rich tasting wine.
