Griesedieck Bavarian Wheat Beer
German immigrant Anton Griesedieck brought his family brewing tradition (dating from 1766 in Stromberg, Germany) to St. Louis in about 1866. The original Griesedieck Beer was a classic American lager. The latest, Unfiltered Bavarian-Style Wheat Ale. This family owned brewer has put its own twist on the popular Wheat Ale category, while pointing to its German roots with a Bavarian-style weissbier.
