Longrow Peated Campelton Single Malt Scotch ReviewLongrow Peated Campelton Single Malt Scotch
First distilled in 1973, Longrow is a double distilled, heavily peated single malt. The first distillation was carried out as an experiment when the Springbank chairman set out to prove that it was possible to produce an Islay-style single malt whisky on the mainland. This experiment produced a whisky so special that Longrow was distilled again a few years later.

McClelland Highland Single Malt Scotch ReviewMcClelland Highland Single Malt Scotch
The McClelland’s Single Malt Whisky range was first launched in 1986 with an Islay, Highland and Lowland expression. Highland malts capture the true spirit of Scotland; the moorlands, heather and fresh pine forests – rounded, firm and fruity.

Sandal and cedar wood fuse with the sweetness of buttercream and fresh vanilla. A little water opens-up the Highland aroma, adding dark treacle and fresh Scottish gooseberries. A well-balanced combination of the sweetness of malt and the aridity of salt. Traces of gooseberry and a hint of lime complete this fine example of Highland Malt. A pleasantly smooth, lengthily, mouth filling aftertaste.
