Chateau De St Aubin Armagnac reviewChateau De St Aubin Armagnac
Chateau de Saint Aubin and all of the Kelt cognacs have made a 90-day Tour du Monde – a trip around the world – in small Limousin oak barrels. Unlike most Armagnac producers who age their spirits in larger 400-liter, used barrels, the Reserve du Chateau is aged in new 265 liter Limousin oak, cognac style barrels, the same that are used in Kelt VSOP and XO Cognac.
Buy Chateau De St Aubin Armagnac
A unique process of distilling, blending, and “Tour du Monde” creates an Armagnac that has the finesses of a cognac and the superior fruit concentration of an Armagnac. Very woodsy, spicy, and strong suggestions of vanilla beans. A hint of lemon, raisins, and chocolate. Taste: Lightly tastes of butterscotch, and some nougat, marzipan, caramel, and oak flavors. Finish: Long honey finish.
