St. louis Peche Lambic Ale ReviewSt. louis Peche Lambic Ale
St. Louis Premium Peche is a lambiek blend by Brouwerij Van Honsebrouck, based on a traditionally brewed gueuze lambiek with the addition of sugar and peach juice. A classic example of a lambic.

With its low alcohol content and fruity, slightly sour flavour, this is beer that can please anyone. The peach aroma is not particularly dominant and shows up more in the smell than in the taste. Pours a hazy gold with a thin layer of white head. Predominantly sweet with a slightly sour aftertaste. It finishes slightly cloying but very soft.

Lindemans Cuvee Renee reviewLindemans Cuvee Renee
Lindemans Cuvée René is authentic “Oude Geuze,” every batch blended by hand. Because gueuze is fermented by multiple strains of yeast, acting over an extended period, it is a testimony & tribute to the yeast strains of the Senne River Valley.
Buy Lindemans Cuvee Renee
Glowing golden color, cidery, winey palate; reminiscent, perhaps, of bubbly dry vermouth but with a more complex and natural flavor. It’s very dry, appetizing and energizing. Full carbonation has pinpoint champagne-like bubbles with bracingly dry and assertive flavors and razor sharp acids that carry through the finish.
Price: $10.49 Size: 750ml. For more information and to buy it, Click Here!

Belgian Beers November 10, 2013

Belgian beers are among the best in the world and Belgium’s beer-making history goes back centuries. Under Catholic church permission, local French and Flemish abbeys brewed and distributed beer as a fund raising method. Five Belgian beers are excellent representatives of the various styles of beer that makes Belgium a major player.
Trappist: the brewery must be in a monastery and the monks must play a role in its production
Gueuze: a mixture of young and old lambics into one beer.
Lambic: a beer style that is truly unique to Belgium.
White: the Belgian Wit holds its own in the battle to wheat supremacy
Duvel: the name is derived from the Flemish word for devil
